Ellenbrook pool reaches a major milestone!
The City of Swan has lodged a development application for the new swimming pool in Ellenbrook, which will feature:
🏊 50m and 25m pools
🌊 Warm water pools
👶 Small toddler pools
💦 Four water slides
🪑 A small grandstand
🚻 Change rooms
⛱️ Significant shade sails
🌭 Barbecue and family areas
Our government and the Federal Government have committed $42 million to get this project done.
We have also committed the land adjacent to the new train station.
So excited to get this project moving!
The State Government committed the land for the Ellenbrook Pool, located right next to the new METRONET Ellenbrook Station.
With $42 million from the State and Federal Governments to deliver this project, the new pool and leisure centre will be easy to access.
Ellenbrook residents can catch a bus, and those in Noranda, Ballajura, Dayton, Brabham, and Henley Brook can take a train or bus to get there.
It’s more than double the size of the original site that had been identified and will allow us to deliver a bigger and better facility including a 50m pool and four indoor sports courts!
